Due to the capacity limitations and obsolescence of their existing shore power boxes, the Royal Australian Navy enlisted us through BAE to upgrade them to cater for the current requirements of their Landing Helicopter Dock Vessels. Our solution to the shore power deficiencies comes thanks to our experience in providing shore power and power reticulation to other vessels, mainly for the Royal New Zealand Navy’s ships. We were happy to improve the existing systems in place to properly meet the design requirements.

For this project it was very important that we properly meet the needs of our clients. They had been unhappy with the existing design solution provided to them from another electrical service provider, and so it was imperative that we go above and beyond to provide a replacement design solution that fit the needs of the vessels the shore power boxes are meant to serve.
